On June 22nd two incidents of hate graffiti were discovered in Andersonville. Our goals for this rally are to condemn the recent racist vandalism in Andersonville, make space for Black and BIPOC Trans voices to be heard in our neighborhood, and elevate the ten demands of Black Lives Matter: Chicago.
The rally kicks off the 4th of July weekend. It is important to remember that celebrations of freedom mean little until we are all truly free.
ASL Interpreters will be present for the speeches and performaces.
